“It’s fun just to see the campus and how much it progresses every year,” said Mary Lathrope ’90, a computer science graduate. “This is not just fun, it’s our roots.”
“I want our kids to see where I got my start,” said Jeff Miles ’02, a Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering graduate who serves on the Alumni Advisory Council.
“I loved Rowan and still do,” said Janet (Russell) Garcia ’74, who was an Elementary Education major and Homecoming queen of 1971. “I had a wonderful experience—four great years.”
“I love being a Prof and being part of this community,” said Juan Sanchez ’08, one of the relay team in a 26.6-mile run on Saturday that revived a tradition begun in 1958.
“It’s always important to come out, reconnect and visit friends,” said Israel Laguer ’05, representing the Rowan ASCEND program.
