100 Years Forward

Our story of the century

Rowan University
By Rowan University

1,000+ photos and 352 pages to amaze and delight

On the horizon of our second century, Rowan keeps evolving. Even as we look toward the future, it’s important to know where we’ve come from and who brought us to this moment—ambitious students, accomplished alumni, dedicated employees and generous friends.

“100 Years Forward: The History of Rowan University” begins in the early 1900s and follows the institution with each step into the future. It recounts in words and images the story of thousands of individuals and their daily commitment to make the world a better place through education.

Created by a team of alumni, retirees and employees who've been part of the institution for more than 70 of our 100 years, it’s a story to be proud of and to share as we move forward together.

Available online and at Barnes & Noble on Rowan Boulevard. Proceeds from all purchases benefit Rowan students.
